A 14-day public research log
Can a tiny daily log make research direction more coherent?
● ongoing
Setup
For fourteen days, publish one short entry after each research session using the same five prompts.
What I tried
I record the question, evidence found, belief changed, open uncertainty, and the first next action.
Result
Early signal: starting the next session is faster, and repeated dead ends are easier to notice.
Lesson
The log is most useful when it records a changed belief, not a list of completed tasks.
Next step
Compare session start-up time and repeated searches at the end of the two weeks.
